Biography
Born in 1942 in East Africa, David qualified as a chartered accountant. He worked in professional practice, industry and university education before starting to paint seriously. Using oils, David uses a palette knife to produce bold strokes that add strength and texture to his work. He has been influenced by the late Kyffin Williams and other Welsh artists such as Gwilym Prichard and Wynne Jenkins. He paints a wide range of subjects including landscapes, seascapes, portraits, still life and figurative studies
