Biography
Born in the early 60's, Huw Gareth Jones graduated in 1983 with a BA Honours degree in Fine Art from Liverpool Polytechnic. He then worked as a civilian Scenes of Crime Officer for North Wales Police before returning to the art world as a teacher in South Wales and London. On his return to Wales in 2000, he took up painting again being inspired by the landscapes of Anglesey and Snowdonia. A winner of the Welsh Artist of the Year competition and the Kyffin Williams drawing prize, he has exhibited widely in London and his native Wales.
